    Amila-Mimica Kunosić

    Amila-Mimica Kunosić was born in 1952 in Tuzla. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Sarajevo in 1975, where she began her career as an assistant in the Theory of the State and Law course.

    After passing the bar exam, she performed important functions, both in the judiciary and in the administration, namely: Deputy Municipal Public Prosecutor in Tuzla, Judge of the District Court in Tuzla, Secretary of the Secretariat for Spatial Planning, Housing, Communal and Property Legal Affairs of the Municipality of Tuzla, undersecretary of the Republic Secretariat for Justice and Administration Organization of the Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sarajevo.

    She continued her professional work in the legal profession, which she has been practicing since March 1992 until today.

    In the Tuzla Regional Bar Association, she held the position of president of the disciplinary court and member of the Board of Directors. She also served as president of the Bar Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from October 2008 to December 2012.

    For her work and commitment to preserving the values of humanism, as well as the development and affirmation of the legal profession, she received the following awards:

    1. Acknowledgment of the Humanitarian Organization "Our Children of BiH" Sarajevo, September 30, 1998. for the protection and improvement of children's rights and the well-being of all children of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
    2. Acknowledgment of the Association of Citizens "Mothers of Handicapped Children TK" Tuzla, 10.11.2000. years for selfless support and help,
    3. Acknowledgment of the Center for Education and Human Development "Amica Educa" BiH Tuzla, 16.03.2007. year, for vision and creativity in the Center's strategic actions, as well as for dedicated volunteer work,
    4. Charter of the Montenegrin Bar, 08.12.2009. years,
    5. Recognition of the Bar Association of Macedonia, 05/29/2010. years,
    6. Plaque of the Bar Association of Serbia, 25.02.2012. years,
    7. Plaque with the Golden Badge of the Vojvodina Bar Association, April 2012,
    8. Plaque of the Bar Association of the Republic of Srpska, June 2012.
    9. Golden plaque of the Bar Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, September 10, 2013. years.

    She wrote and published the following professional works:

    "Legal aspect of the protection of the human environment" paper published in the magazine Manj i životna okolina SFRJ, no. 1/1989;
    "Legal aspect of water protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina" Faculty of Law Sarajevo, March 1992;
    "Split Identity: Nationality and Religion among Women in Bosnia and Herzegovina" presentation of work at the International Conference organized by the Italian Cultural Center in Zagreb on the topic "Women, Culture and War", held in Zagreb in May 1994;
    "Violence against women and the protection of women's human rights" presentation of work at the international conference in Dubrovnik, held in June 1994, organized by the Center for Human Rights Zagreb;
    "Children's rights as part of the protection of human rights" presentation of work at the International Conference held in Tuzla in June 1995, organized by the NGO "Our Children" Sarajevo and the UN Human Rights Office Tuzla;
    Advocacy and civil society" work published in the magazine "Law and Justice" no. 1/2009.
    She was elected as a member of the HJPC of BiH by the Bar Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in January 2017, and she took over from Ilijas Midžić, a lawyer from Bihać, whose term as a member of the HJPC of BiH expired.

    The Bar Association of FBiH expressed its confidence in lawyer Kunosić by re-electing her as a member of the HJPC of BiH in 2020.
